The Lincoln County soccer and volleyball teams all begin postseason play this week.

The soccer Patriots open postseason play Monday night at Boyle County in the 45th District Tournament. The soccer Patriots, the district’s two seed, will face the host Rebels, the three seed, in the second game at 8 p.m.

Danville, the No. 1 boys seed, will take on fourth-seeded Garrard County in the opening game at 6 p.m.

The girls district soccer games will be played at Danville. The Lady Patriots, the three seed in the tourney, will play the host Lady Admirals, the two seed, in the second game Tuesday. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.

Top-seeded Boyle County will take on fourth-seeded Garrard County in the girls first game Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Due to work in the Garrard County Middle School gymnasium, Lincoln County is now hosting the 45th District Volleyball Tournament.

Complete district volleyball matchups were not available, but the Lady Pats are set to play Garrard County at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
