RICHMOND – The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, which provides for Mercer, Boyle, Lincoln, Garrard and Jessamine counties, will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints at locations approved by the Kentucky State Police Policy and Procedures Manual.

At these checkpoints troopers will be targeting impaired drivers, checking for properly restrained adults and children and observing for any other safety violations.
