A Kentucky Evening with Byron Crawford is the theme for the second annual Farm-to-Fork Dinner at The Lavender Farm at Woodstock on Friday, Sept. 28.

Crawford, a Lincoln County native and noted television journalist and newspaper columnist from Louisville, best known for his continuing series of reports on WHAS-TV titled “On the Road,” will join two other Lincoln Countians, Mary May and her daughter Allison Horseman for the event. The Lavender Farm has been in May’s family since 1928 and Horseman and her family now live and work on the farm.

The Farm-to-Fork Dinner will feature a meal prepared using Kentucky Proud products. The producers of locally grown meats and produce participating in the event include: the Susan and George Miller Farm, Stanford; 4 Generations, Stanford; Summit Meats, Science Hill; Haney’s Appledale Farm, Nancy; Wildcat Mountain Cheese, East Bernstadt; Sustainable Harvest Farm, London; Weisenberger Mill, Midway; and Kight’s Pecan Orchard, Kevil.
