Lydia Circle sponsoring soup supper
McKinney Christian Church’s Lydia Circle is sponsoring its annual soup supper on Friday, Oct. 5 from 4 p.m. until soup is gone. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Meal includes soup, sandwich, dessert and drink.
Polly Ann Baptist to hold Homecoming
Polly Ann Baptist Church will hold Homecoming services on Sunday, Sept. 30. The Southern Heirs from Russell Springs will be singing during the 11 a.m. service. Community Choir welcomes all singers for Christmas Concert
Stanford’s Christmas Community Choir welcomes ALL singers as we begin rehearsals for the annual Christmas Concert set for Saturday, Dec. 1. Rehearsals are being held each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Stanford Presbyterian Church. All levels of talent are needed, so come on down!
Voices of Unity to perform last concert together Sept. 30
The a capella group Voices of Unity will be the featured group at The Fifth Sunday Singing at Blue Lick Baptist Church on Sunday, Sept. 30, at the 6 p.m. service. Crab Orchard Church of God, 507 Cedar Street, is hosting its second annual Fall/Christmas Bazaar on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the church. There are lot of vendors, soup lunch, silent auction items, door prizes and Big Al (Lexington Legends Mascot) will be at the bazaar from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – take a picture, get an autograph, enjoy inflatables and free gifts.
