Ruth Caudill, 97, of Stanford, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Charleston Healthcare in Danville, Ky.

Born February 15, 1921, to the late Arvil Hubbard and Goldie Bryant Hubbard, she was the widow of George H. Caudill. She was a former employee of Palm Beach, Inc. and a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, James Darrel Caudill (Joan) of Richmond; two daughters, Nancy Smith (Johnny) of Stanford and Ruthann Sykes (Gary) of Scottsville; one brother, Donald Hubbard of Halls Gap; one sister, Leola Caudill of Halls Gap; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Darrel Hubbard; and two sisters, Dorothy Mullins and Lockie Salyers.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight (Thursday, Aug. 9) at Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at Spurlin Funeral Home with Revs. Gary King and Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
