Swett inducted into Lions Hall of Fame

Lion Jan Swett was inducted into the Kentucky Lions Hall of Fame in May, being only the second female to be awarded this honor.

Lion Jan is a member of the Stanford Lions Club and has served in many capacities in the club. District and states duties include serving as club president, secretary and eye chair, District Governor and Cabinet Secretary and as last year’s president of the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation. Presently, Lion Jan serves as president of the Past District Governor’s Association and Global Service Leader, as well as being very active with the Stanford Lions Club.

Lion Jan has also been the recipient of the International President’s Award, which is the second highest award any Lion can receive, and the International President’s Leadership Award in 2016.
