The countdown to the high school football season is down to 29 days and Lincoln County coach Spencer Crutchfield and his staff are hard at work prepping the Patriots for their opener on Aug. 17.
The Patriots will take on Somerset in the first game of the PBK Bank/WPBK-FM Death Valley Bowl. Bourbon County will play Clay County in the second game.
