RAP Group hosting bundle opening

The Lincoln County Relatives as Parents (RAP) Group will be hosting a bundle opening on Tuesday, July 31 at 5 p.m. behind Stanford Elementary School. This event is open to anyone who is raising children other than your own. Safe Community Coalition collecting school supplies

The Safe Community Coalition is collecting school supplies for the upcoming school year. Donations can be dropped off at the Lincoln County Chamber Office or Lincoln County PVA office at 201 East Main Street. Items will be distributed at Safety Day at the fairgrounds on Saturday, August 4, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

LCHS Class of 1998 to hold reunion

Lincoln County High School Class of 1998 will hold its 20 year class reunion on Saturday, July 21 from 7 – 11 p.m. at Back Porch Club House and Event Venue. Cost is $30 at the door.

Cookbook Tasting Party

Heritage Hospice, Inc. will host a Cookbook Tasting Party on Thursday, July 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hospice building located at 120 Enterprise Drive in Danville. Tickets are $20 and each participant will receive a FREE cookbook, valued at $30. Join us to sample recipes from our “Stirring Up Memories” Cookbook. Limited tickets are available through Monday, July 23. Please stop by the office or call (859) 236-2425 to purchase your tickets.

2018 Home Canning Series

The next session in the 2018 Home Canning Series hosted by the Lincoln County Extension Office will be stewed tomatoes on Thursday, July 19 at 10 a.m. at the extension office. Call (606) 365-2447 to register. 

FREE Lunches

FREE lunches will be available at McKinney Baptist Church for ages 18 and younger each weekday, through August 10. The lunches may be picked up in the parking lot at 11:30 a.m.

Waynesburg SBDM Council to meet
The Waynesburg Elementary SBDM Council will meet Thursday, July 19 at 4:30 p.m. in the school library.

Mitchell Family Reunion

Upward Basketball Camp

Upward Basketball Camp at Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center, July 23-27, 6-8 p.m. K-5 – 6th grade boys and girls. Registration fee is $40. Registration date is Friday, July 13, 5-7 p.m. in the Christian Life Center. Stanford Cruise-In

The Stanford Cruise-In will be held Friday, July 20 from 5 – 8:30 p.m., on Main Street in Stanford. This is hosted by the Lincoln Masonic Lodge #60, Blue Knights of KY XI and the Fort Logan F.O.P. Music by Charlie Napier, “D.J. to the Cars”!

Tween and Teen Events

Breakout Game – tweens and teens (grades 6-12) will work together to solve puzzles and clues to “breakout” of a room on Thursday, July 12 at 6 p.m. and Painting Night on Thursday, July 19. LC Farmers Market

The LC Farmers Market is now open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. or sold out at the Veterans Ball Park.
