Lincoln Co. grand jury hands up eight indictments

The following people were indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on May 29:

• Shawn E. Faulkner, 27, 38 Raintree Drive, Hustonville: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, cocaine; tampering with physical evidence; first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or property. Frank Thornberry with the Kentucky State Police testified.

• Robert H. Martin Jr., 48, 101 Ash Road, Hustonville: theft by unlawful taking of property with a value more than $100,000; knowingly exploiting an adult for more than $300. Bail was set at $100,000 cash or property. Thornberry testified.

• Mark W. Turner Jr., 29, 122 Harris Ave.: second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving marijuana; first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under age 16 involving sexual activity who incurred injury; first-degree sodomy by forcible compulsion; promoting sexual performance by a minor under age 16 who incurred injury. Bail was set at $250,000 cash or property. Tim Morris with the Stanford Police Department testified.

• Jeffrey A. Adkins, 52, second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving marijuana; first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor under age 16 involving sexual activity who incurred injury; first-degree sodomy by forcible compulsion; use of a minor under age 16 in a sexual performance who incurred injury. Bail was set at $250,000 cash or property. Morris testified.

• Tiffany M. McClure, 36, 118 Harris Ave.: second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor involving marijuana. Bail was set at $20,000 cash or property. Morris testified.

• Christopher C. Bennett, 31, 70 Ky. 643, Waynesburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, morphine; DUI. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or property. Matthew Hutti with Kentucky State Police testified.

• Donald K. Hester II, 42, 3105 Ky. 1770: disregarding a traffic control device; first-degree fleeing or evading police while under the influence of drugs or alcohol; DUI second offense; failure to have motor vehicle insurance. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or property. Hutti testified.

• Roger Eugene Wilson Jr.: possession of a controlled substance, meth. Pre-trial diversion was granted.
