The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s Department of Highways maintenance facility in Lincoln County has been closed since Tuesday due to an overnight fire.

The facility, located on U.S. 27 North in Stanford, is expected to reopen by the end of the week.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
