Delmas Harold Petrey, 78, of Waynesburg, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Danville Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Marion Rose (Zyburt) Petrey.

Delmas was born in Lincoln County, on May 24, 1940, to the late Jesse W. and Isabelle (Hinds) Petrey. He was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ. Delmas enjoyed farming and raising beef cattle.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Petrey of Waynesburg; daughters, Tracy Baker of Hazard and Kristi Petrey of Stanford; son, Mark C. Petrey of Berea; sister, Wilma and husband Bradley Barnes of Waynesburg; three grandchildren, Amanda Rose Baker, Heather Nicole Yocum (Bonner) Secrest and Megan Rose Yocum; and one step great grandchildren, Nevaeh Lewis.

In addition to his parents, Delmas was preceded in death by siblings, Jane Blanton, Albert, Jesse Petrey, Jr., David, Howard, Eddie and Clyde Petrey.

Pallbearers include Mark, Adam, Jerry and Curt Petrey, Kevin and Tommy Messer, Bradley Barnes and David Bratcher. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Snyder, Keith Newcomb, and Leon, Billy Joe and Charles Petrey.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 2, 2018 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ric Estes officiating. Burial followed in the Double Springs Cemetery.
