Crab Orchard Elementary School students had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge of science during the school’s annual Science Fair.
Students in the fifth-grade classes began working on their science project in December and those projects were put up for judging at the end of April. Science teacher Emily Manier worked hard with the students to help them get their projects completed for the science fair.
This year’s winners were:
Earth Science – First place, Destiny Saylor; second place, Russell Ramsey; and third place, Garreth Bray.
Life Science – First place, Diana Turner; second place, Olivia Williams; and third place, Angel Fultz.
Physical Science – First place, Haylee McClure; second place, Garnett Loveless; and third place (tie) Will Houts and Trinity Price.
Faculty and staff at Crab Orchard Elementary are very proud of the hard work and dedication the students put into their projects to make the science fair a success.
Crab Orchard Elementary would like to thank all the community members who took the time to come and judge the student projects. Your support for the school and students is truly appreciated.
