Kathleen Bryant Denney Wilson, 73, of Crab Orchard, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at her residence. She was the wife of Billy Joe Wilson whom she married July 20, 2011.

Kathleen was born in Brodhead, KY on April 10, 1945, a daughter of the late Hazel (Brummett) and William Henry Bryant, Sr. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who possessed such a deep love for her family. She was a member Mt. Zion Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Wilson; seven children, Jerry (Kathy) Denney, Johnny Denney, Gary (Karen) Denney, Nora (David) Byrd, Elaine (Tom) Gill, Beulah (Keith) Sims, Pauline (Timothy Kidd) Gilpin; 22 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Lesley Bryant; and three sisters, Irene Bishop, Wilmalene (William) Singleton and Sheila Downs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Wilburn Denney; one sister, Arlene Irvine; and four brothers, Lester, David, Wesley and Henry Bryant, Jr.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Friday, June 1 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel in Crab Orchard with Bro. Thaddeus Eubank officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5 p.m. tonight (Thursday, May 31) at McKnight Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers are Amber McClure, Andrea Riggs, Rachel Denney, Sueann Houp, Brandy Eldridge, Shandra Spears, Katelyn Mullins and Kassidy Gilpin. Honorary pallbearers are Doris Harris, Jewell Benge, Haven Gilpin, Destiny Owens and Hannah Sowder.
