Waynesburg Elementary School’s Art Contest winners for February have been announced.
The winners were: kindergarten — Antonio Chable; first grade — Hailey Leek; second grade — Kaydence Bullock; third grade — Tucker Williams; fourth grade — Brooklynn Sexton; and fifth grade — Lilly Kates.
The artwork is displayed in the school front office by the office of principal Dr. Amy Rigsby for all visitors, students and staff to admire and enjoy.
The winning artists were recognized during a morning school assembly by Dr. Rigsby and will receive a Sonic Gift Card. The students will take home their framed picture after their art has been displayed for a month.
