FRANKFORT – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

•Jordan Tyler Simpson, of Stanford, is a registered nurse at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He will represent the public-at-large and serve for a term expiring Sept. 1, 2021.

•Valerie J. Thompson, of Eubank, is a professional genealogist. She will represent the public-at-large and serve for a term expiring Sept. 1, 2021.
