Bluegrass 911 Director Russ Clark and Assistant Director Candrea Wilson both recently earned the certification of Emergency Number Professional (ENP) through the National Emergency Number Association (NENA).

There are currently only 1,174 people in the nation holding the ENP certification and now, with the addition of Wilson and Clark, there are only eight ENP holders in the state of Kentucky.

According to the NENA website, ENP certification holders “demonstrate a mastery of the comprehensive knowledge base required for emergency number program management” and “help to raise industry standards and increase the respect and prestige of those involved in 9-1-1.”
