STANFORD – Another week has passed, making it the fifth since the 2018 election open filing period began. This week, the following candidate filed for local office in Lincoln County:

• Tim Adams, Democrat, Lincoln County Magistrate, District Four.

So far, two others have filed for the office of magistrate in Lincoln County, including incumbents Lonnie Pruitt, district two magistrate, and Johnnie Padgett, district three magistrate.

The deadline to file for the 2018 primary election is 4 p.m. on Jan. 30.

Candidates for the non-partisan Hustonville City Council, Stanford City Council, Crab Orchard City Commission and all three city mayoral seats have until Aug. 14 to file.
