Crab Orchard narcotics investigation results in drug arrests

CRAB ORCHARD — A narcotics investigation conducted in Crab Orchard last week resulted in two drug-related arrests. More arrests are expected.

A search warrant was obtained Dec. 6 and executed at a residence on Walnut Street the following day by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services Unit.

According to Deputy Michael Mullins, while searching the residence, law enforcement discovered suspected crystal methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia including rolling papers and scales. The investigation led to two arrests.

Kandice R. Hall, 35, of Crab Orchard was charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than two grams of methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Delver Isaacs, 44, of Crab Orchard was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (less than two grams of methamphetamine), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not properly contained and failure to appear.

Both Hall and Isaacs remained lodged in the Lincoln County Regional Jail as of Tuesday evening.

Kentucky State Police assisted Lincoln County law enforcement at the scene, according to Mullins. More arrests are expected to result from the ongoing investigation.
