The kindergarten students at Waynesburg Elementary School have recently been studying community helpers. 

The school has had several guests in its classrooms, who have taught the students about the services they provide to the community, including representatives from the Stanford Fire Department, the Stanford City Police Department, the Waynesburg Ambulance Service and South Kentucky RECC.
