LCHS is returning to council status and electing members for a School-Based Decision Making Council. As a school with over 8% minority enrollment, we are required to have a minority member on our council.

Nominations are being accepted for this Special Election for a minority parent through Sept. 30.

“Minority” means American Indian; Alaskan native; African-American; Hispanic, including persons of Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban, and Central or South American origin; Pacific islander; or other ethnic group underrepresented in the school;

Voting will take place Oct. 3 at LCHS from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

One parent member will be elected to serve on the council. Information, including a nomination form, can be obtained at the school front desk or on our website.
