Grace Aleene (Frazier) Blanton, 92, of Clevland, Ohio, formerly of Stanford, passed away Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Bradley Bay Health Center.

Born March 25, 1925, in Crab Orchard, Grace was a daughter of the late John and Maggie (Anderson) Frazier. She was a member of  Stanford Baptist Church for over 30 years and the wife of the late Letcher Blanton.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Goldbach of Clevland, Ohio; sisters, Irene Adams of Brodhead and Viola Itchue of Detroit, Mich.; brother, William “Bill” Frazier and his wife Betty of Stanford; two grandsons, Tom Blanton of Laporte, Ind. and Justin Goldbach of New York City, N.Y.; and two great grandchildren, Alexa and Maverick of Indiana.

In addition to her parents, Grace was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Blanton; brothers, Elmer and Richard Frazier; and sisters, Beulah Grant, Elisie Dishon and Ann Bell.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Stanford Baptist Church with public visitation beginning at 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.
