Lydia Fuqua, daughter of Dr. Greg and Shannon Meek Fuqua of Lawrenceburg and granddaughter of Roger and Etta Meek of Stanford, has returned from summer studies at Murray State University as part of the Governor’s Scholar Program.

Fuqua, who will be a senior at Anderson County High School, plans to attend Transylvania University. The Governor’s Scholar Program was started in Kentucky in 1983.
