UPDATE: Golden alert cancelled, Lincoln County man found

Lester Powell was found at approximately 3:40 p.m.

 

STANFORD – A golden alert has been issued for a missing Lincoln County man last seen walking towards Crab Orchard.

Emergency officials are attempting to locate Lester Powell, 68, of 148 Rice Lane.

Powell was last seen walking on U.S. Hwy 150 East towards Crab Orchard wearing a green shirt, navy dress pants and a black and white hat.

According to emergency management officials, Powell is approximately 5’5″ and was last seen around 11 a.m. today (Sunday, May 14). Powell suffers from dementia, Parkinson’s Disease and high blood pressure.
