If you are not committed to any other church Sunday, April 16, we invite you to Pleasant View for Easter Sunday. The choir will present their Easter cantata Sunday morning prior to the message.  The Easter sunrise service will be Sunday morning at 7 o’clock at the shelter with life groups at 10 o’clock.
Our Good Friday service will be Friday, April 14 at 6 p.m., and we will observe the Lord’s Supper then.
Joseph Hampton recognized Trey and Royce Cummins and Grayson Cornett for completing the 101 disciple training prior to the message Sunday, April 9.
“What a wonderful name it is—the name of Jesus” were words in a song the praise team sang Sunday.  Kenny Jacobs sang “In the Cross” Sunday as a special. Kristin Story read John 4:1-26—the passage from which Bro. Kyle’s message was centered.
“God-Centered Humility” was the title of the message Sunday. In the passage from John, Jesus met a Samaritan woman at a well and asked her for water. From there He introduced her to salvation and the love of God.
While all of us desire inclusion and acceptance, many are denied both for some reason or another. At the well, Jesus met an outsider, a Samaritan woman, and her life was changed.
“God is a loving, compassionate heavenly Father who always cares for us if we let Him,” concluded Bro. Kyle.
