Stanford Christian Church
Easter is the most glorious day on the Christian’s calendar. Easter – the day of resurrection – is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. The Apostle Paul said, “If Christ has not been resurrected, then our preaching is in vain and our faith is in vain.” (I Corinthians 15:13).  We invite you to come celebrate Jesus’ resurrection victory with us this Sunday at the Stanford Christian Church, 200 East Main Street (next to the courthouse), at 10:50 a.m. His victory could change your life.

Watoto African Children’s Choir to present concert
The congregation of Stanford Baptist Church invites the public to worship with them as they host the Watoto African Children’s Choir in concert on Thursday, May 11 at 6:30 p.m. This group is comprised of 18 orphans from Uganda. They travel the United States singing, dancing, and sharing their testimonies. The choir will perform native music in native costume in what will be a moving experience for everyone. The concert is free but an offering will be received to help offset the choir’s expenses.

  Waynesburg Pentecostal weekend revival
Waynesburg Pentecostal Church, 12127 Hwy. 27, invites you to come and worship with us. The church will host a revival this Easter weekend with Evangelist Bro. Mt. Hebron Baptist to hold revival
Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Ottenehim will hold revival services Sunday, April 23 through Wednesday, April 26 with Bro. Greg Lockard as evangelist. Services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

Crab Orchard
Easter Sunrise Service
Crab Orchard Community Easter Sunrise Service will be held on Cemetery Hill starting at 6:45 a.m. with Bro Troy Godbey of the Crab Orchard Baptist Church bringing the message. Immediately following service a pitchin breakfast will be served at the Christian Church. As always if you want to drop off food the basement doors will be open prior to the service. If you are bringing any type of meat the ladies would appreciate it being cooked and they will rewarm. Looking forward to seeing you at the service. Should weather conditions not allow outside service upon the hill the service will move to the Christian Church.

Stanford Church of Christ to hold spring gospel meeting
Stanford Church of Christ will hold a Spring Gospel meeting April 23-26 with guest speaker Tom Hall from the Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ in Bowling Green. The church is located at 702 East Main Street in Stanford. The schedule of services and topics for each service will be: Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.-“Living with Intention”; Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.-“What is my Purpose?”; Sunday evening at 6 p.m. – “Mental Strength”; Monday evening at 7 p.m.- “Distractions to Devotion”; Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.-“Every life is a plan of God”; and Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.-“Can I know I am saved?” For more information, call (859) 339-0420 or (606) 365-7281. 

Family Worship Center
Family Worship Center, 12130 US Hwy. 27 S, Waynesburg, welcomes you to Sunday morning service at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday evening at 7 p.m., we are beginning a Bible study by John Bevere, “The Fear of the Lord.”  All are welcome to join us for this study. Willow Grove to host egg hunt
Willow Grove Baptist Church will host a community-wide Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 15 at 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 4306 Stanford Rd. in Danville. There will be free food, games, and entertainment for the whole family, plus prizes for “winning” egg hunters in age groups up to 6th grade.

Hilltop House of Praise
Hilltop House of Praise is located at the top of Halls Gap Hill. Sunday morning services start at 11 a.m.  
Sunday night services are at 6 p.m. and Wednesday night services start at 7 p.m.
