6th-Grade Eagles bow out early

The Lincoln County Middle School sixth-grade boys’ basketball team made an early exit in the KBA State Tournament, with North Laurel knocking the Eagles out of contention with a 55-49 first-round win.
The Eagles, coached by Steve Ralston, went 0-3 in the tourney, bowing to Jefferson County Traditional and North Oldham in pool play.
The sixth-grade team is: Tramane Alcorn, Trevor Bennett, Brian Gray, Xzavion Grey, Tommy Griffin, Layne Lark, Jansen McAninch, Trevor Miracle, Zack Moore, Zane Mullins, Colton Ralston, Jackson Sims, Jalen Smith, Cole Sneed and Bo Wallin.
The Eagles end their season at 30-6.
