The Lincoln County Middle School volleyball teams fight hard when they take the court for matches, but they are also aware of those taking on a bigger fight – a fight for their lives while battling cancer.
To honor the many who have fought cancer and those that are still fighting the terrible disease, the LCMS volleyball teams are hosting Volley for a Cure on Tuesday, Feb. 7.
The LCMS sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade teams will be competing against Lebanon Middle at the event, with the first match, the sixth-grade match, beginning at 5:30 p.m. followed by the other matches.
Everyone is asked to wear pink for the event. The cost of admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students. LCMS students in pink will be admitted free.
A Relay for Life booth will be set up with fun supplies for the PINK OUT.  Volleyballs for the Cure Wall will be sold for $1 apiece, with proceeds going to Relay for Life.
A ceremony to honored loved ones who have battled or who are still battling cancer will be held before the eighth-grade match.
Some concessions and gate proceeds will be donated to Relay for Life.
