The Lincoln County Middle School boys basketball teams continue to rack up the wins, steamrolling their way to victory this past week at Danville Bate and at home against Anderson County. 
Results from the Eagle sweeps follow:

Lincoln at Bate
6th Grade
Lincoln 47, Bate 27
Layne Lark double-doubled with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the sixth-grade Eagles’ 47-27 win over host Danville Bate.
Lincoln led 13-9 after the first then opened up the close game with a 10-0 second-quarter run to go up 23-9 at the half. The Eagles went on to outscore the Bulldogs 24-18 in the second half to secure the win.
Tramane Alcorn had eight points and seven rebounds for Lincoln, Zack Moore had eight points and three assists, Brian Gray scored four points, Xzavion Grey had three, Trevor Miracle and Jalen Smith each got two and Jackson Sims and Bo Wallin each had a free throw toss.
7th Grade
Lincoln 55, Bate 32
Jaxon Smith and Tramane Alcorn combined for 32 points to lead Lincoln’s seventh-grade Eagles to a 55-32 win at Danville Bate.
Smith led all scorers with 20 points and five rebounds and Alcorn finished with 12 points and three steals.
Lincoln led after every quarterstop, up 15-7 after the first, 30-22 at the half and 41-28 in the third before closing on a 14-4 run.
Clayton Davis contributed nine points and three assists, Ryan York also added nine points, Colin Green had eight points, Colton Ralston had six, Jansen McAninch had five, Lawson Hon, four, Braxton Cooper, three, Lee Amon, Skyler Quinn and Layne Lark each had two and Cruise Wilson had one.
8th Grade
Lincoln 58, Bate 20
Eagles Rodney Alcorn and Jackson Smith combined for almost as many points individually as host Danville Bate had as a team in the Lincoln eighth-graders’ 58-20 road win.
Alcorn had a game-high 18 points and 10 rebounds in the win and Jackson Smith followed with 12 points and four assists. Alcorn also had four steals.
Lincoln led Bate just 7-4 after the first, but took control of the game with a 26-7 second-quarter run for a 33-11 halftime lead. The Eagles surged 19-5 in the third to cushion their lead to 52-16 before moving on for the win.
Others contributing in the win were: Preston Barnes, nine points and four assists; Michael Henderson, eight points; Riley Lark, three points and five assists; Bryson Young, two points and seven rebounds; and Cruise Wilson, Clayton Davis and Colin Green, two points apiece. 
Anderson Co. at Lincoln
6th Grade
Lincoln 60, Anderson 17
Lincoln exploded out to a 28-6 start and never looked back as the sixth-grade Eagles cruised 60-17 over visiting Anderson County.
The Eagles outscored Anderson 24-7 over the second and third quarters to post a 52-13 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Tramane Alcorn led Lincoln in the win with 14 points, five assists and six steals. Jansen McAninch added eight points, Zack Moore got five points, Colton Ralston, Layne Lark, Xzavion Grey, Jackson Sims, Brian Gray and Jalen Smith all scored four points, Trevor Bennett got three and Trevor Miracle, Tommy Griffin and Zane Mullins each had two.
7th Grade
Lincoln 48, Anderson 13
The seventh-grade Eagle defense stymied the Anderson County offense, holding the visitors to no more than five points a period in Lincoln’s 48-13 rout.
The Eagles jumped out to a 13-2 first-quarter lead then outscored Anderson 12-5 in the second for a 25-7 halftime lead. Five points was Anderson’s high in the game. Lincoln outpointed the visitors 18-3 in the third and 5-3 in the fourth for the easy win.
Lincoln’s leading scorer in the game was Jaxon Smith with 18 points. He also had five steals. Also contributing for Lincoln were: Lee Amon, six points and six rebounds; Cruise Wilson four points and six rebounds; Clayton Davis, Lawson Hon and Ryan York, four points apiece; Tramane Alcorn, Colton Ralston and Layne Lark, two points each; and Braxton Cooper, one point.
8th Grade
Lincoln 52, Anderson 38
Lincoln’s triple threat of double-digit scorers Preston Barnes, Rodney Alcorn and Baylor Mattingly was too much for Anderson County to handle as the eighth-grade Eagles claimed a 52-38 win.
Barnes led the way with a game-high 17 points, Alcorn followed with 15 points along with 10 rebounds, four steals and three assists, and Mattingly poured in 11 points.
Play was close early on, with Lincoln showing a 14-12 edge after one and a 27-23 lead at the break. The Eagles extended their lead to 36-26 with a 9-3 third-quarter run then closed with a 16-12 scoring edge to earn the victory.
Rounding out Lincoln’s scoring were: Blaise Brown and Jackson Smith, four points apiece; and Bryson Young one point.
