Lois J. Carrier Reed, 84, of Amelia, Ohio, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, at Hospice of Cincinnati Blue Ash.
Born July 7, 1932, in Lincoln County, Lois was a daughter of the late Joseph L. and Fanny Ann Moore Carrier. She was the widow of William O. Reed, who passed away in 2004. Lois was a devoted member of the Amelia Nazarene Church. She loved butterflies, but above all she loved her family.
She is survived by her sons, Greg Reed and Lynn (Sara) Reed; grandchildren, Katie and Laura Reed; sister, Mayme Lou Carrier; brother, Victor Moore Carrier; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Noreen Peck, Roy, Alfred, Joseph D., Richard and Dan Carrier.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia, OH 45102. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
