After waiting years to get a coveted Kentucky Bull Elk tag it finally came this year for Gary Napier.
Napier was able to take a fine bull on his 69th birthday. He bagged the elk on Oct. 3 in Letcher County thanks to the help of Joe Martin, Nate Martin and his grandson, Dylan Napier.
Napier’s grandson, Garrett, got a tag for a cow in the lottery.
