Dorothy Duvall, 90

Dorothy Duvall, 90, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.
Dorothy was born in Crab Orchard, Ky., on November 7, 1925, to the late Owen and Hettie Duvall. She worked as a secretary for the First Security Bank for 25 years. She was also a member of the Preachersville United Methodist Church and the Lexington Business Professional Woman’s Club. She enjoyed collecting ceramic frogs and cardinals.
Survivors include five nieces, Gail Keith, Cheryl Greenhill, Janet Parsons, Karen Hendrix and Susan Moore; four nephews, Ron, David, Mike and Gary Duvall; a special friend, Freda Wurtele; as well as great, great great and great great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Clarence, Henry, Bobby and Sam Duvall; a sister, Marie Burton; a nephew, Philip Duvall; and a niece, Sandra Davidson.
Graveside services were Wednesday, Sept. 28, in the Lancaster Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Thompson officiating.
