News Release
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office

During the first week of January in 2016, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office applied for a grant through the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association. The grant would be used to purchase much needed equipment for our agency.
On March 29, our agency received notification that we had been awarded the grant. The grant allowed the sheriff’s office to purchase one Portable Breath Tester (PBT).
With the donated equipment, this will greatly enhance our agency’s efforts on impaired driving enforcement. Our agency values the efforts of the United States Department of Agriculture to helping not only the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, but the nation’s law enforcement officers.
The United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing training and equipment grants to our nation’s law enforcement officers. For more information on the USDSA, visit their website at www.usdeputy.org.
