Ephraim McDowell Health Welcomes Nurse Practitioners

DANVILLE – Summer Mountjoy Blair and Eva Stone, board-certified advanced practice registered nurses (A.P.R.N.), have joined Ephraim McDowell Family & Internal Medicine.
Blair received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and art history from Wofford College in South Carolina. She has been caring for patients for nearly seven years. Summer lives in Danville with her husband, Nick, their daughter, Willow and their dog, Aida. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, running and spending time with her family.
Stone received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Virginia University and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Kentucky. She has over 25 years of nursing experience and is certified as a professional school nurse by the Kentucky Educational Professional Standards Board and is a fellow of the Public Health Leadership Institute. She has special interests in community health, school health, diabetes, well child exams, physicals, preventive care and health system transformation. Eva lives in Danville with her husband, Heath, and their three children, Hannah, Millie and Samantha. She enjoys teaching bible class, spending time with her family and reading.
Ephraim McDowell Family & Internal Medicine is located at 105 Ponder Court, Suite 4 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. To schedule an appointment, you may call (859) 236-4216.
