It goes without saying that the annual Lincoln County Fair is a showcase for area youth.

Between the 4-H livestock shows, four nights of beauty pageants and kiddie shows, Pedal Pulls and Power Wheels competitions, the younger competitive crowd is well served.

But the Lincoln County Fair does its best to include those adults who also have a competitive streak.

The motor sports track at the fairgrounds is where most of the tests of speed and strength take place, with motorcycle drag races, a Demolition Derby and three nights of truck and tractor pulls all stirring up a little red clay to the delight of onlookers.

When all the dust has settled, each Fair competition produces a long list of winners and near winners.

Results from the Motorcycle Drags, Demolition Derby and two of the three truck and tractor pulls follow, along with horseshoe pitching finals:
