Obituary: Verdena Faye Rumley

Verdena Faye Rumley died Monday, Feb. 8 in Valencia, Calif.
A native of Waynesburg, she was the daughter of Grandville Young and Flossie Mae Hayes. She was a homemaker and married to Army veteran, SFC Joseph C. Rumley. After her husband's passing in 1973, she was a Realtor in Southern California, where she lived from 1977 until her passing.
Survivors include a daughter, Vickie L. Kidwell and her son, Joseph D. Rumley; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; four sisters; and a brother.
Funeral services were Feb. 13 at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg,
Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg was in charge of the arrangements.
